Why does TurboTax think I deferred some Social Security taxes for 2020?

TurboTax is telling me to expect a W2-C from my employer since I deferred Social Security tax last year.   The problem is that I didn't.   My W2 correctly reflects that I hit the income limit for social security taxes of $137,700 and the correct SS tax withheld of $8,537.40 which is 6.2% of $137,700.     Neither do I have a code A set in box 12 of my W2.    Is this a bug in TurboTax?

I have the same thing happening on our return.  I posted to this forum about it last week.  I wonder if it's a software bug.

You do not have to do anything.

If you got the message  "Heads up! You have a W-2C coming" .  This was fixed in the newest release on 2/19/2020.

Only the customers who now legitimately will receive a W-2C will still get the pop up.

A W-2c form is used by the United States Internal Revenue Service for tax filing and reporting services. This form is known as a Corrected Wage and Tax Statement form.
