Why does TurboTax not allow me to file today and pay with credit card Apr 18?

TurboTax allows to file today and pay with a bank account or debit card on Apr 18 but not a credit card.

TurboTax can't handle credit card payments to the IRS because those go through certain authorized companies. Select that you will mail your payment to avoid program issues and then pay the IRS with a credit card here.
