Why does TurboTax claim they care about security but then not allow us to copy and paste passwords into the Desktop App?

The title says it all. I'm trying to connect my various accounts and they all have complex passwords. Some apps like Betterment/Wealthfront generate an app password that is 32 characters long and complex. I have to type each one in manually? What kind of security is this.

Is this a joke? Can we fix this?

What is the matter of personal opinion? The fact that you can't copy and paste passwords in 2022?

Another year of sloppy security for Intuit.  Need proof?  Turbotax Online has NO problems with copy/paste, but their desktop app STILL can't handle it (unless it is to their own systems).
