Why does turbo want me to file schedule D (upgrade to turbo premium)?

The capital gain I reported is from 1099- Div 2a (not from  selling). Why does turbo say I need to file schedule D (and upgrade to turbo premium)? Thanks.

Box 2a on Form 1099-DIV is for Capital Gain Distributions from mutual funds.  They are reported to you on Form 1099-DIV, but since they are Capital Gains they go on Schedule D of your personal tax return.  That is why TurboTax says you need to file Schedule D.
