Only your state would know that. You should get a notice from your state letting you know why. You can also contact NY state for more information
I've seen several posts like this lately. I wonder if the state incorrectly issued some refunds?
I bet it is. I saw one state had accidentally deposited the wrong refunds & took them right back. I wonder if NY also did that.
