Why does my uber 1099 Nec say an extremely lower amount than what is on my tax summary?

Form 1099-NEC will report your income from your Uber rides, it will not report your expenses. I believe the summary you are referring to may be showing your net income, which is your income minus expenses, so it would be less than your income reported on form 1099-NEC.

I have a similar issue. the math doesn't add up.  the gross on my tax summary is different from my 1099 NEC and the difference between the 1099 NEC and tax summary gross amount is less than the Expenses fees and tax.
