Why does my taxes say self employed if Im not self employed?

Your taxes may say self-employed, if you entered a 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC, which will then prepare a Schedule C, in your return. A Schedule C, is only available in TurboTax Self-Employed, to report self-employed income and expenses.
