Why does my "PDF Download" arrive as a file named "(2)" without an extension and opens only as text character stream?

First line appears as:
%PDF-1.5
%âãÏÓ
4 0 obj
<</Filter/FlateDecode/Length 10>>stream
xœ+ä  î |
endstream
endobj
5 0 obj
<</Filter/FlateDecode/Length 661>>stream

Download it with a different browser.

The file is actually a PDF file..but EDGE downloads it with a ".txt" extension.

AFTER you download it with EDGE, you can rename the extension to ".pdf" and with will open normally with a PDF reader.

Or....like I suggested..use a different browser to download it....IE11 and Chrome both work for me

I had to 'display hidden extensions" and then I was able to replace the "txt" with PDF.
