Why does it say I cant e-file because my EITC is based on non-documented earned income?

Do you have any income from a W-2 or self-employment income?  Social security, retirement income, stock sales, interest and dividends, and unemployment do not count as earned income.

I have not income from a W-2 or self-employment income.

I just list foreign earned income.

If I want to Efile, how should I do?

Thanks a lot!

It sounds like you are getting the Earned Income and need to mail in your return.

Is that a problem? What are you trying to do? Do you want to eliminate the credit?

Are you a US Citizen or Resident alien?  This is one of the criteria to qualify for the EITC.

If your only income is from foreign sources, it may be asking you to mail your return as there is no way for the IRS to verify your income so it may be asking you to include additional documentation.  If this is the case, you can NOT e-file.  You will need to print and mail your return and follow the instruction on the instruction page.
