Why does california standard deduction show as $5202? That is the wrong amount

Do you think it should be greater?

 

Fer certain individuals, it might change if you haven't entered all your income yet...

i.e.

IF you or your spouse/RDP can be claimed by someone else as their dependent, it may be limited to:

"....your earned income from: line 2 of the “Standard Deduction Worksheet for Dependents" in the instructions for federal Form 1040 or 1040-SR"

I didnt' see the 2022 form yet, but on the 2021 instructions it was here, scroll down to line 18 instructions:

OR...Perhaps the CA tax forms for 2022 are not updated in TTX to include the proper amounts, or proper calculation links yet.

 

For CA, many forms are not scheduled to be ready for use until after Jan 12 for some, and Jan 26 for others
