Why does a section on the tax form keep telling me to revisit it when I have done that several times already?

The IRA, 401K Pension plan withdrawal section keeps telling me to revisit it and I have done so several times already. Does it mean I have done something incorrectly?

Yes -It is missing information. Return to the 1099-R and go through all of the questions. It is a very complicated section. If you have both 401k and IRA distributions, the program must verify that you took all of the RMD across all accounts that you are required to take. It must check IRA or not, codes, etc. Please review your answers.

If you still have trouble, reply with the exact message and worksheet section- as much as you can for us to help you.  The review screen should be showing you part of a form and have specific questions.
