Why didn't TurboTax alert me of Michigan State Form 5081 when filing my taxes? Now there's a late penalty and I'm filing it myself.

TurboTax does not support Michigan Form 5081 Sales, Use and Withholding Taxes Annual Return

Thanks.  Is there any way of finding out what other forms I might be missing that TurboTax didn't support?  I'd like to avoid any other late fees and get all required forms sent in as soon as possible.

There is not a list of unsupported state tax forms.

However, there is a list of the supported state tax forms.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for Michigan state forms supported in the personal editions - https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_mi_online_individual.html

Hey sorry to dig this up from over a year ago. Hopefully someone is still watching this forum. I’m in the same boat now I just got the same notice from collections.

Were you able to work it out with the state or did you have to pay it? They’re requesting $5400 + 1750 in penalty from us and wanted to see what your luck was.

thanks in advance
