Why did TurboTax Self Employed re-categorize many of my Quick Books Self Employed transactions when I uploaded them?

I have all my transactions categorized how they should be in Quick Books Self-employed, but when I uploaded all my data to Turbo Tax Self-employed from Quick Books, Turbo Tax changed the categories of many of my transactions. Why is this?

The expense, income and balance sheet accounts you have on QuickBooks are listed for financial statement reporting purposes, which can be different for tax reporting purposes. So, you may see them represented differently on your tax return than on your QuickBooks financial reports.
