Why did turbo tax only ask for my information to file my state taxes & NOT my spouse's? Since we're filing jointly.

You may have errors that you must correct before you move on to your spouse's tax info.

I looked back & noticed that his information was entered alongside mine when I originally input this information for our federal & it was transferred & is under married (combined) for our state. It's just TurboTax words it as "you" instead of "you & your spouse" or "you or your spouse".  

So I thought they were only referring to me, but seems it is simplified and combined together.

Did it ask if you were married?  You have to tell it you are married before you can enter your spouses info.
