Why did the upload of my Fidelity 1099 stock sale info not upload the purchase date for all the stock sales. It is available from their website.

You may attempt a second upload.  But be aware that there are reports that a second upload may override the first upload.  So any changes made to the first upload could be lost.

Or you would have to manually update the purchase date (and, perhaps, the long-term / short-term designation) for each transaction.

The actual acquired date is actually in the brokerage form in the "documents" within Turbotax. Therefore it did actually upload but the software is not capturing the date for the return information.  All the other information transferred. In fact, there is no  "Date Acquired" column on the 1099-B Sales report in the tax return information.
