Why did the IRS rejected my turbo card

I've been a client with turbo tax for years. And the IRS will not use the card that turbo tax gave me they rejected it and this  is what it said.We scheduled your check to be mailed on April 24, 2020 to the address we have on file for you.why are they mailing it when I have a card on file everybody else is getting there money that deal with TurboTax by direct deposit.this is crazy

Apparently, the IRS was concerned that the bank information they had for you might not be accurate or current.  I have seen the exact opposite complaint on this forum; a customer who received a refund on the Turbo card and then cancel the card and now the IRS is sending payment to the canceled card.  I don’t know how the IRS decides which accounts are safe and which accounts are not, and they may not even know how they decide at this point, but it’s better to get a check then to get nothing.
