Why did my state refund come in the mail if i efiled

Efile refers to how you file the return, not how you receive the refund.

Only the state can tell you why those chose to mail you a check, as opposed to (say) doing a direct deposit. They do not notify TT.

It came in the mail and it was very short. I called and they said it wasnt any offsets so why would they send me 7 measley dollars when i know i supposed to get more back?
