There are many small semi-unusual circumstances that TurboTax simply isn't equipped to account for, and I want to review my Form 1040 to ensure they're properly reflected. But I'm already at the step where it's asking how I want to pay my federal taxes, and I still can't find any way to view my Form 1040. There are several things that I'm certain TurboTax is handling inaccurately, but the only way to get in front of a live person to discuss these things is to give TurboTax more money, so I at least want to be able to correct them myself.
Visit the Print Center and you can print out your entire return.
You have to pay TurboTax their fee first.
If you did not pay TurboTax anything yet, you can switch to TurboTax CD/download and resume with that program running on your computer.
You can see all the forms, because you have to pay for CD/download.
TurboTax Online is designed for taxpayers who are forms-challenged and do not want to look at IRS forms.
Thanks. I already paid TurboTax, but I can't find any "Print Center". I can only see "Download/print return (PDF)" for previous years (up through 2020).

If you completed and filed a 2021 tax return using the TurboTax online editions, use this procedure -
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2021 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
That makes sense, but I would hope they could at least offer the option to review the Form 1040, if desired. Not to toot my own horn, but while I'm not a tax professional, I am an experienced CPA, so I'm no stranger to IRS forms.

You can view your Form 1040 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
Thanks. However, I haven't yet filed my 2021 tax returns, as I'm trying to correct them *before* filing. On the "Tax Home" page, I see that I can download/print returns for previous years (through 2020), but I don't see "Add a state", "Tax Tools", or "Print Center". On the left, I only see "Tax Home" and "Documents", and on "Tax Home", I'm only given the options to complete my 2021 tax return, change my account information, view my order summary, or do various things with my prior tax returns (again, through 2020).
Thanks. There was no "Tax Tools" on the left side. However, by searching the FAQ function, I discovered that "Tax Tools" will only show up if you click on "Continue" or "Pick up where you left off". After doing that, I was finally, at long last, able to see Tax Tools. This interface is really, really frustrating and, ironically, very unintuitive.
