Why can't I import data from Bank of America and Merrill Lynch? This year they are not even listed under the institutions that support importation. What gives?

I don't see Bank of America in the list of banks and brokerages, but I do see Merrill Lynch. In either case, very few banks or brokerages will allow you to import 2016 tax forms until after they have completed them and transmitted them to the IRS. The deadline is January 31, 2017.

It is possible that BOA has stopped partnering with Intuit on in-program imports. They may have transitioned to a Tax Exchange Format (TXF). Their public website does not mention electronic delivery of tax forms, but does state forms are mailed by the end of January and should arrive by mid-February.

You may be able to get additional information by signing in to BOAs online banking service.

BOFA is not working for me either, but it has worked the past few years. So frustrating.
