Why are there no federal taxes being withheld from my wages

There are a couple reasons why no federal income taxes were withheld from your wages:

  1. You filled out form W-4 such that no taxes were required to be withheld at your wage level.
  2. Your wages are low enough so no income tax is required to be withheld.

That is a question for your employer.   Did you receive a W-2?   Or are you an independent contractor who received a 1099NEC?    Do you have pay stubs that show any tax, Social Security or Medicare withheld?

If you are an employee and the employer is not withholding any tax then you need to sort that out with the employer.   If you are working as an independent contractor then you need to understand what it means to be "self-employed" in the eyes of the IRS.
