Why am I not allowed to have my federal tax refund withdrawn from my bank account today, April 15th? It keeps stopping me from e-filing.

This is a known issue that they are looking into.

You can go to the IRS website and make a payment there. https://directpay.irs.gov/directpay/payment?execution=e1s1

Select that you are going to mail a check.

That Direct Pay site is a convoluted process and not why I pay over $200 to use TurboTax.  This a completely ridiculous and unfair.

At this point I am going to make the direct debit date 4/16 and if it creates an issue I will deal with it later and with TurboTax.

Some are saying to leave it blank and it will default to today.

Also, we are referring to this link as well.

This has also been an issue for me.  I set date to 4/16 as I can’t navigate that irs site well and am just guessing.  This will be very upsetting if we incur a late fee due to a malfunction on turbotax’s site

TurboTaxLewisD - all that link is saying is to go to the IRS site and pay there.  That does not help.  If I do that, I expect a FUL REFUND on my TurboTax fees.
