Why am I being asked to fill out a 1099-NEC? All I have to report is a W2.

I filled out all of my W2 information. My only source of income is from my W2. I have not received payments from any other individual or business. It will not let me file my taxes until I fill out a 1099-NEC. Why will is it making me fill out a 1099-NEC?

Check how you answered the personal income question (under Busines.
Also, you may have filed a 1099-NEC last year, which may require you to tell TT to remove it for 2020.
