while in the first section to auto-fill my return with my info, it shows my first name but does not show my spouses first name, only middle initial. is this normal?

It's not typical for TurboTax to show only your spouse's middle initial instead of their first name. Here are the steps to correct this:

Edit Personal Information:

1. Sign into  TurboTax
2. For TurboTax Online, go to the Personal profile screen.
3. For TurboTax Desktop, open or continue your return and select Personal Info.
