whick tax software?

For the past 12 years, we have used home and business version of turbo tax due to my husband writing off his vehicle mileage and other expenses. He is not self-employed he does work for a business. IF I am understanding correct we are no longer allowed to write off those expenses. If we have all the general expenses (kids, house,401k, etc) what would be the appropriate software would premiere or deluxe.

If your husband is no longer self-employed and is now an employee (receiving W-2), you are correct that employee business expenses are not allowed for 2018 tax year. I recommend that you start with the Deluxe version, as you will be able to write off your home expenses (if you itemize) and your retirement, kids, etc.
