Which line on 2018 Form 1040 reflects Line 36 from Schedule 1 (Form 1040)?

Line 36 on Schedule 1 does not go directly on IRS Form 1040.  

If you have an amount on Line 36 of Schedule 1, that number is subtracted from line 6 of the 1040 and entered on line 7 of the 1040.
