This question is for turbo tax, why is there no place to sign on the paper return. The IRS is still requesting a signature on any returns that's mailed in. But the turbo tax version does not a place for signature and have not addressed this issue for the 2018 return for some time. What is the solution for this issue?
The screen you just posted your question to has two responses which both tell you where to sign your Form 1040. The "Sign Here" part of the new Form 1040 is smack dab in the middle of the page.
Look closely--the new "postcard size" Form 1040 is supposed to be two half pages--front and back--but when you print it out, both sides print on one page. Do you see the black arrow pointing to the words "Sign here" in the middle of the page?
the signature page for federal income tax is not on the front page where is it
