Where do you put additional federal payments not part of estimated taxes

What type of federal payments were they?

They were payments made in march 2019 because I anticipated additional tax due

These are not deductible. They count for 2019. The last payment for 2018 was January 15.

Estimated payments made later than January 15 are not deductible for 2018.. They count for 2019. The last payment for 2018 was January 15.

If you have other payments made in 2018 see below.

If you have state tax estimates or any other payments enter them here: (enlarge.)

•        Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)

•        Click on Deductions and Credits

•        Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)

•        Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid

  • Other Income Taxes - click start or update

  • Other Income Taxes Paid in 2018
  • Withholding not already entered on a W-2 or 1099
