Where do I upload my Form 8949 data from TD Ameritrade? In Income & Expenses or Your tax returns & documents or elsewhere? And I have it in PDF format. Is that OK?

I'm using TT online.   Those are in the page I get when I log in, "Hi Ernest, let's keep working on your taxes!"

you cannot attach 1099-B PDF unless TurboTax asks for it.

if you use the summarize aka "mail-in" option, you will be prompted as necessary.

This only works with TurboTax Online.

if you don't have wash sales or other adjustments,

and everything is Box A or Box D,

Form 8949 is not required. No attachment is needed, no mailing is needed.

When you enter investment sales or exchanges from Form 1099-B in TurboTax, we'll automatically fill out Form 8949 Sales and Other Dispositions of Capital Assets and transfer the info to Schedule D. You don't need to fill out the 8949 yourself.

Where do I enter or import a 1099-B?
