Where do I report income received from the USDA in support of a farm I partially own?

The amount in total received from the USDA is less than $600.

Please clarify - how was this payment reported to you? On what form?

I did not get a tax form.   There were four different payments to me from the USDA for different amounts throughout the year.  They were for government relief to farmers because of the Congressional Farm Bill.  Each time I got a payment, I also received a document that served as a receipt.  On this document it also indicated that I would not be sent a 1099...that the document will serve as the form I need.  It doesn't say what kind of 1099 it would have been.  These are payments from the government to provide relief to farmers because of the tariffs and then later because of the pandemic.

Enter it as other income on Schedule F.

Line 8 Other income, including federal and state gasoline or fuel tax credit or refund (see instructions)
