On your form W2 box 18 is local income. There should be an amount/entry in box 19 (local tax) and/or 20 (locality) and there should also be an entry in box 18 showing the income that was taxed.
If box 18 is empty enter the same amount as box 16 into box 18 in TurboTax for the form W2. The amount in box 18 should match what is in box 16 for state income. The same IN income is taxed by the state and the county just as different rates.
Indiana employers withhold local taxes based on the taxpayer's county of residence or if non-resident based on the county of employment.
There is no column F (or any other column) on a W-2. Local wages are in box 18. Is that what you are looking for?
Where exactly are you being asked for "Col F-Local Income"? What is the exact wording of the entire question that you are trying to answer?
Not sure what you mean by "Col F"----If you are looking for local income and local tax withheld on your W-2 Look at box 18 for Local income, tips, etc.and Box 19 for Local income tax, Box 20 for Locality name
TurboTax can only do a very few local tax returns. For a list of cities that TurboTax (TT) can handle, see: https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899325-which-city-income-tax-returns-can-turbotax-handle. TT can do Ohio School District Income tax (SDIT) too.
In my state review it is asking to check this entry:
Sch IN-W: col-Local Income must be entered:
Col F-Local Income *empty box*
I'm not sure where to find this information.
