TurboTax supports neither the calculation of an NOL nor an ATNOL, both of which must be calculated by the taxpayer.


In order to calculate an NOL, follow Publication 536 (link below is for use in 2018 returns).

In order to calculate an ATNOL, you will need your Form 6251 and should follow the guidelines set forth below.

Why is it that TurboTax doesn't support the calculation of NOLs?  It calculates seemingly everything else.  Are there any other things it doesn't support (i.e. passive loss carryovers, capital loss carryovers, AMT credit carryovers?)  Thanks!
