Where do I enter quarterly tax payments that I made in the self employed version of Turbo Tax?

I pay estimated quarterly taxes for my small business (self employed). Where do I enter this in TurboTax Self-Employed? Another Q&A said to click on the Federal Taxes tab, but I do not have that tab. Thanks,

Your 2016 estimated tax payments that were made in conjunction with vouchers that were printed at the time of your 2015 tax return show up on Line 65 of Form 1040. This is true of any amounts that were applied from your 2015 tax return as well. Meaning that any 2015 tax refund went to satisfy your 2016 estimated tax liability...again, shows up on Line 65 of your Form 1040.

To enter these payments in Turbo Tax, follow these steps...

  • Log into your tax return.
  • Use the search box in the upper right hand corner of your screen, type in "estimated taxes paid" and press enter.
  • This cause the "Jump to estimated taxes paid" link to come up...click that link.
  • From here Turbo Tax will bring you to estimated taxes paid screen.
