Your credit card statement will be the proof that you paid your tax due.

It was actually made through my bank but the payment isn’t showing on the bank statement.

Ask the bank---are you sure it went through?

So exactly how did you pay it?  Did you pay it directly online at the IRS?  First you said by credit card and now through your bank account.  Did you put down your bank info for the IRS or state to pull it out?

You might have paid the Turbo Tax fees with a credit card.

You can also open an account on IRS.GOV there, and you can see any payments you made along with any income information reported to the IRS.  It is also a place that stores your old tax information.

The problem is, it has not cleared my bank. If I can get the Confirmation number for the payment, I can get an answer if it was processed. Thank you.

I meant it was paid with my bank card through the TurboTax app.

That still isn't clear what you did.  You might have only been paying the Turbo Tax fees.  Check the Turbo Tax cover sheet to see how you selected to pay the tax due.  Maybe you entered your bank account or routing number wrong.  Some banks use different numbers for deposits and payments.

I paid for the taxes I owe using my credit card but received no confirmation

Where can I get a receipt

I am not waiting for a credit card receipt.  I want to make sure the IRS was paid

The only "receipt" you are ever going to get will be your credit card statement.  TurboTax does not provide you with a receipt for paying your tax due.  TT only passes along your information to the IRS or state.  TurboTax never knows how, when or if you paid your tax due.

You can create an online account with the IRS and view your payments by going to: https://www.irs.gov/payments

You'll need to call turbo tax for that info. I'm on hold now for the same info.

Next year I'll use the IRS payment page because then I'll get a confirmation number in my email.  Here's the site - https://www.irs.gov/payments

TurboTax doesn't process tax payments directly, but serves to facilitate your using a credit card or other payment method to transmit payment to the IRS. Your credit card issuer can confirm that the payment was made.

When you pay for your federal taxes with your credit/debit card, it goes through a third-party payment processor. The processor charges a convenience fee.

See this help article for more information.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

Same thing has happened to me, so I don't know if it went through, or what??  Did you ever get this issue resolved?
