You do not need and there is not an extension for taxpayers affected by Hurricane Irma.

If you have filed an extension request Form 4868 on or before April 18, 2017 and you live in one of the affected states you will have until January 31, 2018 to file the 2016 tax return without penalty.

But you can only efile from Turbo Tax until Oct. 16, 2017.  After that you will have to print and mail.  And we don't know when Turbo Tax Online for 2016 will be shutting down to get ready for next year.
