When will i be able to start using 2020 tax preparation online version?

The 2019 tax year is to be filed in 2020.

The TurboTax online editions for tax year 2019 are scheduled to be available sometime today, 12/04, subject to change.

The online software for a

2019

tax return opens sometime today on December 4, 2019.  You will not be preparing a 2020 tax return until 2021.
