When will 1099 NEC forms be available on Home and Business 2024? Is there a delay this year or is this related to a problem with the desktop version I purchased?

That lookup list doesn't include the W2 and 1099 forms you need to create to issue to your employees and contractors. I haven't found them yet. But hopefully it should be very soon!

I went into my Home & Business and made up a 1099NEC in the Desktop version, not the online QEF. Got all the way to the end and it says it will be ready soon. There is a button at the top to email me when these forms are ready.
That lookup is only for Form 1040. I need to file 1099s now.
Yeah this is very annoying. It is already Jan 13 and these forms are due Jan 31! C’mon Intuit, get your act together. It’s not like the IRS is gonna change these forms last minute. These forms should have been available all throughout 2024 since we need to be filing them for 2024 payments.

It is already January 14, 2025. 2024 1099 – NEC forms must be sent out by the end of the month. Why are they not available yet for the desktop version? They should have been ready many months ago!
Jan 18 for an UPDATE? C'mon, we need to submit these things Jan 31!
There should be no reason for this delay. These forms have not changed all 2024 and this filing option should have been available as soon as the 2024 Turbotax program came out.
I tried paper filing but that requires requesting the freaking forms from the IRS, and then figuring out the labyrnthine form.
Fix your problem Turbotax!!!
As an alternative option, please go to this link, Quick Employer Forms, and use your TurboTax Account to log in and try to e-file from there.
