When it asks do I have any dependants can I say yes if I plan to count myself?

NO.   When you enter your own information in MY INFO it will ask if someone else can claim you as a dependent.  Just say NO.  You are not claiming a dependent.  Claiming a dependent would mean you supported someone else besides yourself.

You can't be your own dependent.
