What tax year were you downloading?

If 2019 follow this procedure to download the tax data file (Not the PDF) -

Sign onto your TurboTax online account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down and click on Add a State.  This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.

Click on Tools

Click on Save your 2019 return to your computer

When I experienced this issue I found out that the file that I downloaded had a password on it and that is why is was "corrupt".  I opened the file in may desktop version and went to:

- File

- Encrypt

- Remove password

- Save

I then did a file save and the new file worked to upload to the on-line version.
