When I try to download my W2's I get "Response from ereports invalid transaction id"

I switched to a different provider (cell phone hot-spot) and got the same response.  I think Intuit has issues.

No. If they did, then there would be thousands of posts here about it. The problem is not with Intuit, or your ISP. The problem is on the computer where your W-2 to be imported, physically resides. You have no access or control of that computer, and neither does Intuit or your internet service provider.

THis indicates that whoever is the online provider for you to download from, has issues on their end. There's nothing you can do about that. Just leave the screen blank that asks for the Employer ID number and continue. Then you can enter the W-2 manually.
