When I downloaded information from an institution for me and my spouse the first download disappears when the second persons information is downloaded?

Clear your browser after the first account import.  Here's how to clear your Cache and Cookies. 

 

Then search for your broker via the search bar rather than clicking the broker icon. This should allow the screen to input account information and import the data. 

 

If you're using TurboTax Online and filing jointly, consider combining the totals for 1099-INT/DIV and making one entry in those sections.  You can download a PDF copy of your 1099-B and attach it to your return.
