When I check my CA taxes, it says my mortgage interest adjustment is wrong, but TT calculated it for me. How do I fix this, as TT calculated this number for me?

Is this the message you are seeing:

Misc Itemized Deductions Statement: Pt I, Mortgage Int Adj total adjusted California interest and/or points cannot be greater that the total interest points. Please modify your adjustment.
