When filing electronically one's PA state return you are asked to submit your 1099R'S. Does the filer attach them to the voucher or just how are they sent in????

The information may be faxed to 717-787-2840 or a PDF version can be emailed to RA-BITPITELFCORFAXES@pa.gov, If you are unable to fax or email, please mail to the following address:

PA Department of Revenue 
Bureau of Individual Taxes
Electronic Filing Section
P.O. Box 280507
Harrisburg, PA  17128-0507

To ensure your fax is properly filed with your personal income tax account.  Please include only one taxpayer’s information and one tax year per fax; and either use form DEX-93 or clearly list the following on your own fax cover sheet:

  • Taxpayer Name (name listed first on return),
  • Taxpayer SSN,
  • Tax Year
  • Brief description or any special notes that you want to provide us to assist with the processing of the return.
