When does IRS publish next years 1040s for pdf download?

Hello all,

New member here...I just finished filing my 2020 return....but I was wondering for next year's 2021...how early or when does the irs usually publish the 1040 for download?

The date the form is finalized depends, particularly upon changes in tax law.

The form may not be finalized until January.

Most of the 2021 tax forms and schedules have not been released by the IRS; we will update this page as soon as they become available. These forms are for 2021 Tax Returns (January 1 - December 31, 2021) due by April 15, 2022 and they can be e-filed via eFile.com between early January 2022 and October 15, 2022.

And the Turbo Tax Desktop CD/Download programs usually comes out in November. The Online web versions open in December.
