When checking an entry, it asks me to remove my SSN from a document, then tells me I need it. I haven't been able to submit my taxes for a while because of this.

Sounds like your Minnesota return needs to 'refresh' the information listed on your Federal Info worksheet. Here's how:

1. Sign in - Continue your/take me to my return or pick up where I left off   
   
2. Click State Taxes near the top of your screen, and then Select Your State Returns.
3. On that screen, click the Delete link right next to the Edit button, and then answer Yes
4. Review and complete the Minnesota return.
   

In some cases, you won't see the option to delete, just Edit and Start Over. This is because you either already paid for your state or registered your free version while that state was attached to your return.
