Desktop software is already available for download. Online software will become available sometime in early December. As fanfare pointed out, the documents you will need are not required to be provided by employers, banks, etc. until late January/early February.

It is actually better to wait til any "bugs" and/or "glitches" have been fixed in the new software, so hurrying to file too early may not be to your advantage.
