What version of turbo tax do I need if I was a w-2 employee but now am a contractor and my wife is a w-2 employee for a different company

If you mean "contractor" as in "independent contractor with your own business:

If you are not incorporated with an EIN and plan to use your personal social security number, then you can use:

TurboTax Self-Employed if you want to do your taxes online or TurboTax Home and Business if you prefer a software version for your computer.

If you mean "contractor" as in you get a 1099 and don't have your own business with expenses, then you can add multiple W2s and 1099's on the income section of any  TurboTax product.
