Verify you have entered your address is exactly the same as your credit card billing address.  Even one digit off on a zip code will prevent verification.

here is the answer to why the IRS cant seem to match your credit card info or ,I imagine, info from one of the other selections, i.e. auto loan , mortgage, etc.ready

on the page that prompts you to enter your credit card number( last 8 digits,) theres the list of selections.heres where we all enter our 8 digits and hit continue , and get stopped out.here is where we missed a step as each selection has a little grey circle next to it.after you enter your number touch the little grey circle  next to the selection until it shades in black.then hit continue.happy success

The IRS can't verify my credit card. I recently submitted a change of address to match my IRS address with my new billing address. Maybe the IRS still hasn't noted the change? Or maybe I need to file taxes first at my new address before making an account?
