What is the definition of Qualifying Surving Spouse? I want to know if I am qualified for this deduction?

Could I qualify for standard deduction as Surviving Spouse?

If you spouse passed away in 2021 and you have a qualifying child as a dependent on your 2022 tax return then your filing status would be Surviving Spouse.  The standard deduction is available for all taxpayers regardless of the filing status.

The following is an excerpt from the IRS guidance on what qualifies for Who is a qualifying widower:

If you qualify as per the above excerpt, you may file for multiple years as a qualifying widower.

According to the IRS, I am a Qualifying Surviving Spouse for two years after the death of my husband. Why does TurboTax keep filing as Single?
