What is the ar1022 form? Never seen it, and its causing me not to e-file?

There is no individual tax form call AR1022 that I can find in any state.

 

What state are you talking about (remember that we in the Community cannot see your tax return nor the screen you are on)?

 

Is the name of the form spelled correctly?

I meant ar2210

AR2210 is the Arkansas Underpayment of Estimated Tax form.

 

This form is added by TurboTax when it appears that you did not pay at least 90% of your Arkansas tax due and when the tax due is larger than $1,000.

 

TurboTax tries to apply a number of exceptions (the two listed above are not exhaustive), then completes the form to see if you owe any penalty for the  underpayment of your Arkansas state tax.

 

I do not know why this form would prevent you from e-filing, since it is available on all platforms. Are you using either the CD/Windows or Mac software? Be sure that you have updated it before trying to re-efile.

Form 1022, Authorization to Disclose Information Including Protected Health Information for Referral to Another Agency/Organization.

 

Purpose

To serve as the individual's authorization to release information, including protected health information, for the purposes of:

• obtaining information to establish eligibility for HHSC programs;
• sharing information between programs within HHSC;
• sharing information with other agencies that offer benefits for the individual; and
• eliminating barriers for individuals to receive services through multiple programs and agencies.

 

If you do not need it, here is how to delete it.  This should solve the problem.

 

How do I view and delete forms in TurboTax Online?

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
4. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.

I received a refund from Arkansas last year, but it is still requiring me to submit box 5 on the AR2210 form?
