What happens when all your bars are gone and it says processing

When the blue line/ bar is complete, it means that the IRS has accepted your return and that you have an estimated refund date (if you are expecting a tax refund). Please note that the IRS issues most refunds within 21 days of your return being accepted.

TurboTax tracks whether your federal tax return as been accepted or rejected and gives an estimate on when you can expect to receive your tax refund.  Please see the following TurboTax FAQ for information on tracking your federal refund:

Here is the general timeline of e-filed returns:

Transmission > Acceptance > Processing > Approval > Refund.

After acceptance, but before processing the status may not be available. If you contact the government or try look up your refund status while your return is still pending, don't be surprised if they tell you "no record found." This is normal; until the government starts reviewing and processing your return, they won't have any record of it.
